I could not be more pleased with Wake Forest Endodontics. I needed some relief. I drove here to make an appointment since it is just 5 mins from my referring dentist. The front desk staff was extremely friendly (as is everyone here) and I made an appointment same day, two hours later. It is now 8 hours since my root canal and I am virtually pain free. I am very much looking forward to a good nights sleep (which I have not had in days). Thank You, Thank You Dr. Jake and all of your wonderful staff. You all do a great service and I (and I’m sure others) really appreciate it.

I was very nervous about having to get a root canal performed by someone whom I never met. I had been in excruciating pain and had not been able to sleep for three days. I was referred to this office and got an appointment immediately. Cindy walked me through everything over the phone and had an estimate emailed to me with my appointment promptly. Dr. Jake is very gentle and was very apologetic for any discomfort that I felt during the procedure. The procedure did not take as long as I thought. I was in and out in an hour. Even though I arrived in pain, the discomfort during the procedure was very minimal. I was nervous about the pain I would have once the numbness wore off. Honestly my tooth has not hurt since I walked out of that office. I highly recommend Dr. Jake for a root canal. You will not be disappointed in him and his staff! I can eat and drink things now such as ice cream, but I could not before (at least not comfortably). A toothache is very serious and I almost feel like this root canal changed my life. Words can’t describe the pain I was in before I went to this office; and words can’t describe the comfort that I have right now. It was definitely money well spent. If you are in need of a root canal this is definitely the place to go.

I recently had a tooth pass away this past Sunday evening after a crown prep 6 weeks prior, which resulted in me being in extreme, radiating pain, and unable to sleep that night, and 2 days prior. The pain was so bad, it traveled down my neck, and to my finger tips of my right arm. Dr. Pettit was kind, compassionate, and able to get me in the following day (monday) for #30 Root canal treatment. Dr. Pettit was extremely professional, and getting numb was painless and easy. The entire root canal was finished, and a permanent filling placed within 2 hours (molars typically take multiple visits). I was able to return to work the following day, and feel much better. I don’t want to think about where I would be if Dr. Pettit hadn’t helped me out. I am extremely grateful, and have full confidence in this office.

My general dentist scheduled me two weeks out for a root canal but so was in a lot of pain. Friends referred me to WF Endodontics so I called to ask about a second opinion and they took care of me that very day! I was also nervous but Dr. Pettit was patient and reassuring. I’m so thankful!

I have to say this staff along with Dr Reynolds is outstanding in their delivery of patient care. I felt entirely taken care of and most importantly, the staff makes eye contact and are kind and thoughtful. I came in pain and agony and they were nurturing and understanding. Dr Reynolds exudes confidence and competence. He is quiet and reserved during the procedure as he is totally focused but then afterwards spent a long time with me reviewing the procedure and pictures of my dental abscess. We then talked about “life” for a few minutes and this is so important to maintaining a healthy long term relationship with your patients.

Root canal – Dr Reynolds listened to my concerns needing extra numbing. Was gentle and attentive. Would recommend to anyone needing work. He was recommended by many friends to me as well as local people. Would have him do this again if I ever need in the future. All staff friendly helpful pleasant.

Root canals are never easy however this was the easiest thing I have done in a long time. The procedure was painless and Dr Reynolds did a wonderful job of explaining what was happening. The other point was I have had no pain from the procedure and we are 3 days post. Incredible

I was in horrible pain. The staff greeted me quickly. Dr Reynolds greeted me as if I was his only patient for the day. He spoke calmly and took the time needed to assess and repair my issue. I was extremely nervous but he calmed my anxiety. The explanation of the work done after my procedure was very informative. Melinda was my hero, she kept me calm throughout the entire procedure… When I’m in the dental chair, I’m 4 years old again and it’s just not pretty, but Dr. Reynolds and Melinda put me right at ease and before I knew it, the root canal was finished. You guys are the BEST!

This was my first root canal and I cant believe that I could have had a better experience anyplace. My health history required that I take an antibiotic, which I had not taken ,and Dr. Reynolds made sure that I had it before he stared the exam. He had my confidence right then and there.He and his staff were the most professional that I have known..Not one negative thing did I experience..I didn’t feel pain before or after the procedure. I would recommend this practice 100%!

The obvious statement: no one wants to get a root canal. I had already had the misfortune of having 3 root canals in my lifetime. This was to be my 4th. The unexpected statement: that was the best root canal ever! As Dr. Reynolds was treating my tooth, I was trying to think of the words to describe the work I could feel being done: words like thorough, deliberate, and meticulous. Leaving the office that day, I felt more than confident in the work of Dr. Reynolds. Also, and I can’t stress this strongly enough, at no time did Dr. Reynolds or his team even remotely make me feel that I, as the patient, was just next on the assembly line. Everyone in the office was genuinely helpful, kind, and empathetic. This was hugely important to me. May I never, ever need another root canal procedure in my lifetime, but if I do, I would go out of my way to see Dr. Reynolds.

If you are reading this and HATE going to the Dentist or HATE having work done on your teeth then please read further….I HATE going to the Dentist because it seems like the problem I have turns into More then what I first came in with. Plus it takes many many shots to numb me in my mouth. With that being said. I went to see Dr. Reynolds after having a permanent crown put on, which (of course) caused me pain and I was told that in order to relieve the pain I needed a’ ROOT CANAL’!! I was NOT Happy. I was upset and Very Very nervous having to go see Dr.Reynolds. He eased my concerns to a degree. The day of the procedure I was so nervous. Of course he had to give me ‘Extra’ shots to numb me, but once it kicked in everything was good to go. The procedure didn’t take as long as I thought it would. I am still having a little discomfort and have to go BACK to see my dentist. but feel 98% that the discomfort I am having is minor and will go away soon. As For Dr.Reynolds and his staff…They were Wonderful and Once they start accepting our dental insurance I would go back to him if I had to in a heart beat. So if there are any scaredy carts out there, Trust me He Is Awesome 🙂

I have always believed in specialists for specific treatment needs. Dr. Reynolds and staff totally confirms just that!! When you are told that you need to possibly have a root canal and you have never had one, it is unsettling to say the least. If you are lucky enough to have your dentist refer you to a specialist like Dr. Reynolds to provide the treatment necessary is a blessing! A specialist can make something so dreaded turn into a normal dental procedure. Dr. Reynolds and his staff are a cut above the rest!!!! All questions are answered from,”Is it really necessary?”, to your insurance benefits, to out of pocket expense. Beyond that it was obvious the experience, knowledge and confidence of this practice and provider! If you are at all anxious about the possibility of having a root canal this is your place! Completely pain free! I had two root canals done at the same time and I was scared to death of the very idea of it. Dr. Reynolds and his staff really worked hard to make me comfortable, to ease my stress, and to make sure that I got the care I needed. I experienced no pain during the procedure and Dr. Reynolds was able to save my existing crown and my own tooth (no new crown needed!). How cool is that? Thank you, Dr. Reynolds!

This was my first root canal experience and I was really nervous. I kind of knew what to expect, but with a tooth that had been hurting really bad for a few days I thought that there was no way that this procedure could be done without pain. I was wrong! Dr. Reynolds made sure that I was pain free and knew everything that he would be doing. I have had zero pain since having the root canal done which is amazing. Dr. Jake Reynolds was friendly and professional and so was the rest of the staff. He double checked my diagnosis for having an abscess behind my tooth before beginning and made sure to check all his work to ensure things were going correctly both during and after the procedure. He even fixed a tiny cavity I had on the tooth in question free of charge during the procedure. This was my first root canal, and due to popular culture I was not exactly looking forward to the horrors I’d heard about having root canals done. Nonetheless, the procedure itself really wasn’t bad at all. There was no pain during the procedure and the staff made sure I was comfortable during it.

Overall experience was excellent – was referred by primary dentist because it was questionable if tooth could be saved. Dr. Reynolds saved the tooth. He and his assistant worked like clock work together. His hands had the rhythm of a symphony conductor as he performed the root canal procedure.You could tell that he was into his craft and enjoyed his work. He explained what he was going to do ahead of time and also during the procedure.Equipment was high tech and he even shared with me the before and after picture on the monitor when the procedure was complete. I have and will continue to recommend Dr. Reynolds to friends and coworkers.

Overall, very good experience. The Doctor was very informative and detailed with his procedure. In fact, he had to “go back in” and fill another nerve that he found after it was sealed. The dental assistant was excellent; very friendly and comforting. The negative was that the receptionist came in to my room to get my method of payment while I was waiting on the doctor. This could have (should have) been done before or after the procedure; in my opinion, that was not professional.

When I had just finished paying $1325 and was given my shots, I was asked if I wanted some “oxygen/nitrous oxide” and I replied yes. I waited a while, and was informed I needed to pay $160.00 before they could proceed. I found that highly insulting and my husband was furious. Not sure what kind of clientele you normally have, but your claiming you couldn’t go ahead till I paid you was very shocking! And, I have tried to submit this and I guess it didn’t like my star rating and wouldn’t let me submit.

My nervous anticipation of this root canal procedure was quickly put to ease as I arrived for my appointment. It is a very welcoming atmosphere with extremely tasteful design and decor. Dr. Reynolds & his staff were exceptionally informative prior to my procedure with the steps he would be taking to preform my root canal procedure. Dr. Reynolds also took the time to explain exactly what he did during my procedure and provided images & x-rays for me to look at for better understanding afterwards. Very professional yet personable too. I would HIGHLY recommend Wake Forest Endodontics.

Everything that happened was explained. I was able to see the x-rays. I had the choice of having the gas to relax me and even though I did not think I needed it, when I did decide to have it, it was no problem to be given the gas at the time. My questions were answered patiently and I did not feel that asking questions was a problem to them. I will definitely go back if I have to have another root canal done. And I would definitely recommend Dr. Reynolds to other people.

I was not looking forward to having this procedure at all. This was my first time having a root canal and I was afraid that it would be painful and take several hours. I was still nervous when I showed up for my appointment, but the office was beautiful and I felt more like I was signing in for a spa treatment instead of a major dental procedure. The wait was brief and the office staff were efficient and courteous. Dr. Reynolds got me settled in and described in exact detail what he was going to do for me, and gave me a high comfort level that he knew his stuff and had the BEST technology for performing these types of procedures. He went to work and continued to tell me what he was doing as he went along. Before I knew it, we were finished, and he then took a few minutes to show me the before and after photos of the root area that was repaired. I left his office without feeling any discomfort whatsoever and thinking that I wished going to see the dentist was as pleasant as having a root canal. I would highly recommend going to Dr. Reynolds for anyone needing to see an Endodontist.
